Originally from Milan, Giancarlo’s Princigalli’s passion for hospitality started in his early years in Italy, where he completed catering school with merits. Moving away from home, Giancarlo began his career at the Savoy Hotel in London. Following the Savoy he joined Gordon Ramsay Holdings in 2001; working in Restaurant Pétrus and Maze. In 2008, Giancarlo took over Jean Philippe’s position as Restaurant Manager, leading the front of house at ‘Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley’.


Giancarlo has worked with Alyn for over 6 years, becoming Restaurant Director in 2011 to open ‘Alyn Williams at the Westbury’. His attention to detail and friendly but meticulous service make guests feel welcome and relaxed.
